At Beatcord, every album cover is sold as a one-time-use, exclusive license. This means you hold the rights to use that visual—no one else.

If you notice your purchased cover being used somewhere without your permission, here’s how to take action:

Step-by-Step: File a DMCA Takedown

You can report the violation directly to the platform (e.g. YouTube, Instagram, Bandcamp) by submitting a DMCA takedown form.

  1. Locate the platform's copyright complaint form

  2. Fill in the form using your information as the license holder.

  3. Attach your Beatcord license PDF as proof of ownership.

  4. Paste the URL of the infringing use (post, video, profile, etc.).

  5. Submit the form and wait for platform response (typically 3–7 business days).

What to Include:

  • ✅ The license PDF you received from Beatcord

  • ✅ A direct link to the misuse

  • ✅ A short statement confirming your ownership rights

  • ✅ A contact email where the platform can reach you

Beatcord's Role

While Beatcord does not file DMCA claims on behalf of customers, we support your case by:

  • Providing an official license document

  • Assisting you with the takedown process if needed

  • Verifying your ownership upon request

🚨 Remember: Do not contact the infringing user directly. Always use official takedown channels.
